Getting Started

Welcome to Drupal

Drupal is the open-source Content Management System (CMS) that will provide the foundation for your website.  Using "Modules," we are able to highly customize many of the features and functionality of the site.  Also, because Drupal is open-source, there is a large and supportive community available to help aid in building and maintaining sites.  For more information, you can visit http://drupal.org/ or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drupal.

What you will learn

Drupal provides a basic framework for a website, but almost everything that was built for your site was built as a custom component.  For this reason, a generic Drupal manual would not be specific enough to provide instructions for maintaining the website.  As the site is built, we will be documenting administration instructions on this subsite.  You will learn how to add pages, manage callouts, create events, administer the menu system, and so much more.  If you have any questions, or need clarification at any time, please do not hesitate to e-mail your project manager.
